Story of Simply Stated

Hello love, thanks for stopping by! My name is Hanna, welcome to my store! I graduated in 2020 from East Carolina University with a B.S. in Fashion Merchandising & Consumer Studies with a Certificate in Entrepreneurship, and started my business as an online shop after graduation. My goal is to offer affordable style that focuses on simplicity. I don't believe in having a huge wardrobe, just one that consists of pieces you love. You don't need to own much to be happy! I hope that you can find pieces here that you can keep for seasons to come, and wear over & over. My store motto is "do more, while owning less," which is totally possible if you carefully select clothing that can be worn many times, different ways, and throughout seasons.

Simply Stated started as an online and pop up boutique in Wrightsville Beach, NC. I took my boutique all over the state of North Carolina doing over 100 pop up shops. After we grew to the point of doing 10 events per month, I knew it was time for a physical location. It was then that I decided to pack up shop and hit the road back to my hometown of Edenton, NC, and open my storefront on South Broad St. I can't imagine living and running my business anywhere besides beautiful downtown Edenton!

The Boss around here is my little man, Fendi. He is my 4lb Yorkie who calls all the shots and is the most fashionable, beach loving puppy. Simply Stated began at Wrightsville Beach, and I want the simple lifestyle of living at the beach to be reflected in my store & the style I offer you gals.
